We are very good at parties. The message is that everyone should have fun, constantly “like” each other on social media, make life a celebration; every day there is a new festival somewhere.

Director Marcel Sijm also loves to celebrate but thinks we should pay more attention to sadness and loss. His performance De macht van Rouw was part of the Brainwash Festival 2017 and Theater na de Dam 2018.
